Out at Five

by Matt Johnson, mjohnson@atpm.com

After a couple years of drawing Cortland, I decided to put my flannel-wearing hero to rest once and for all and start fresh. Well, I’m starting mostly fresh. Some of these characters will look vaguely familiar, but the storyline is all new. Well, it starts mostly where Cortland left off, but there’s no real connection between the two. No sir. So sit back, relax, and enjoy it as you would any other gag panel strip, because that’s what I was shooting for in the first place.

Re "The Happy Medium", I think that works only for the small to medium companies. Big companies now block almost everything, like webmail, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Picasa, AIM, etc. The few things left to do nowadays include proofreading ATPM betas, renewing library materials, reading the news, and very few other activities.
