Dear readers,

Since 2002, I’ve enjoyed drawing comics for ATPM every month, and it’s been a thrill to read your comments posted here that let me know you enjoy reading them. Now, after more than six years of drawing Cortland, I’m bringing the story to a close. I will continue to draw comics for ATPM, but I have just gotten married, started a new job, and moved to a new city, and right now seems as good a time as any for a hiatus. I will eventually start a new comic after I’ve had a chance to rest a bit and think more carefully about what kind of comic I’d like to draw for the next six years. I hope to have you all back when that happens.

Keep watching this space, and thanks for reading.

Sincerely,

Matt Johnson

Congrats to you, sir. All good things come to an end. That is so we can recognize them. Good luck . Love and marriage are a marathon, not a race. Pace yourself.

Congratulations! I'm a little late reading the last two issues of ATPM because I was away. It is a delightful ending. I have enjoyed every episode since it began. I will look forward to your next comic strip. Thank you
