You need to get pictures from the 1600s.

Okay, direct me to the time portal, and I'll set out on a photo safari. Either that, or perhaps you'd be interested in donating the royalty fees for us to obtain some historical photos. *smirk*

Your photos are beautiful. I had hoped to find a picture or two of wild horses, but I am quite satisfied with what I saw. I borrowed a couple of your photos for a speech I have to give at school on Wildlife Conservation and your gallery provided what I needed. I wish I could find a place to live and a landlord that will work with me near Yellowstone so I could do what I enjoy most; being with nature and wildlife. Thank you for the photos.

I think you should get more pictures of moose for your desktop.

Jimmy - oh, okay. Just tell that moose to come back and stand around in different spots for me so I can take his picture! ;-)

Seriously, I had previously taken an excursion all through New England and was at the very tail end (no pun intended) of this Yellowstone/Tetons vacation before I saw this moose--first one ever for me. I felt lucky to have finally found one.

It looks like these pictures were taken in Yellowstone park. I am from Montana. If you go to Yellowstone in the fall of the year, you should get tons of good pictures. Also, if you head out of the city of West Yellowstone and go towards Eniss, you can get pictures of large elk herds in the winter and rocky mountain sheep.

I'm 28 and have lived in Red Logde, MT(northeast corner of yellowstone) off and on all my life. If you want to see moose, then I sugest to go there in the fall and winter. It's just like northern exposure! HUGE!!, and beautiful, be careful though they are extremly unpredictable and dangerous! To walk up on an unexpecting moose would be just as bad if not worse than scaring a grizzly.
