Phil · November 24, 2003 - 07:30 EST #1: Conflans is an amazing small village up on a hill near the town of Albertville. There are two terrific traditional restaurants at the top--although one has a picture of Clacton on the sea on their wall (it must seem exotic to the French). It's well worth dropping by on the way to the big French ski resorts of Three Vallees and Valdisere, Les Arc, La Plagne, etc.
