I love the oregon coast! Looking at these pictures make me miss the summers I spent there. You have to see the coast in person to really understand the true beauty.

Outstandingly good photos and a real joy to view them at full resolution. Can't wait to visit this region in spring 2007. It will be a considerable contrast to the flatness of East Anglia where I live!

I'm from Oregon now living in Virgia and I gotta say, to me, the Oregon coast beats the beaches over here hands down. Oregon is a beautiful state through and through.

GREAT pictures! We live about 10 miles north of Cannon Beach in Seaside, Oregon.

My wife and I are selling our collection of carnival glass next year and we were wondering if we could one or two of your pictures as background for the auctioneer's brochure? Thanks, john muehlbauer

These pictures are gorgeous. I love the ocean and its sounds. I have wanted to live on the beach so I could fall asleep listening to the calming effects of the waves. Have leisurely walks on the beach and just listen.

Thank you for the amazing pictures.

Believe me or not, Since I was in my teens I always saw a beautiful beach in my dreams. And believe me or not I found that beach today... I just can't express my feelings in words by looking at this picture. Ecola beach I am coming down this summer with my family.

These photos make me homesick. I am Grand Ronde Indian (Chinook, Wasco and Kalapuyan)and those very places are stomping grounds of my ancestory and myself. I love Oregon. She's got a little of everything. Desert, Mountain, Ocean, Forest etc. A beautiful landscape filled with a culturally diverse people. The first thing I'm gonna do when I get back is pull out my Nikon D200 and take pictures from Ontario all the way through the Columbia River Gorge and hit the coast from Astoria to Newport. My hats off to the photographer. Thanks for the inspiration.

I used to live in Bay City Oregon right near Tillamook Bay. Now I live in Florida. The Oregon coast is so beautiful and peaceful, that I dread living in Florida for a second! I would move back to the Oregon coast in a hearbeat!! Oregon is my home!
Susan Anderson · March 2, 2007 - 12:09 EST #18
Another homesick Oregon native exiled to Florida. These pictures remind me of why my goal is to return to the most beautiful of all states.

Born/raised in Eugene, forays to the coast were my life...now a resident of Puget Sound I miss my Coast! Sept 06 my close girlfriend from Syracuse, NY joined me for a week w/o husbands and kids for an incredible 'girlfriend trip' through Oregon with 6 nights on the beach and one in Bend. We will forever long to be back. Thanks for sharing your views of the saltwater that flows through our veins!

So I finally went to the Oregon Coast... and I love it! And yes, in case you all were wondering, me and Felicia are still friends! Whoooooopoo! Oh and I am going to do the Fall beach clean up too!
Felicia Lee · October 30, 2007 - 17:20 EST #23
I love these picture! Like WOW! You should totally be a photographer. I love going to the beach. It's my favorite place ever. Yay Oreon Coast! One time, I wanted to get sand in a bottle as a souvenire and my friend Julie and I ran all the way to the water in the pouring rain to fill up our bottles. Then my sister was like...Why didn't you just open the car door? bahahahah.
wooopooo.

Just curious here... Born and raised in Oregon, 44 years now...close to the coast so it's never more than an hour away. I've never heard of "Driftwood Point", nor can I find it on any map. I love your pictures of this... and would love to see it myself. Could you pinpoint where this Driftwood Point is? Thanks!

Your pictures are just beautiful--just as I remember from our trip out west several years ago. We decided to take a breather from our job as foster parents to seek some higher inspiration and we certainly found it our weat and again now with your awe inspiring pictures. Thanks!!
